Which would we suggest?
For travellers attracted by a cave train, start with Postojna. For those keen on an active walk through an underground canyon, investigate Škocjan. Neither should be chosen on price alone. These are our planning suggestions, not an accessibility assessment.
Check walking ability and entry time
Discuss mobility needs with the attraction before paying. Postojna’s train does not remove the walking section. Škocjan’s exits can change, affecting stairs and duration. The operator’s current instructions take precedence.
For cruise visitors
First send the ship name, disembarkation and all-aboard deadline. The five-hour transport allowance must fit inside your time ashore with a return buffer. Admission is paid separately. In bad weather, a cave visit still depends on safe access and available tickets.
