Choose a town, not just a valley
Bovec, Kobarid and Tolmin are separate destinations. Pick your overnight base around your activities, then request transport to the exact address.
Stay rather than rush
Consider two nights for a more comfortable visit. River activities should be booked with the activity operator, who decides whether conditions are suitable.
Keep the road choice flexible
Mountain routes are seasonal and weather-dependent. Do not assume the Vršič pass is open; agree the route for your date before booking.
